Interpreting talks from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile

GRATO was present at three important talks organised by the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, which were given by experts in different areas to educate best their students on these topics. The first talk was given by a Muslim academic who studies Christianity in the United States and is currently pursuing her PhD. The second talk was face-to-face, where the Indonesian Ambassador to Chile spoke about international relations betweenIndonesia and Chile. These events were performed by the talented interpreters Daniela Barraza and Javiera Marileo. Finally, the third talk involved Thailand and was via Zoom, presented by a doctor who spoke about nutrition with uncommon products such as cricket flour, which is asupplement to replace meat. The interpreters in charge were Daniela Díaz and Daniela Barraza. Thanks to its professional interpreters, GRATO enabled attendees to fully participate in these talks, regardless of their mother tongue. This not only enhances the overall learning experience, but also promotes inclusion and intercultural exchange in academic settings, creating an environment where knowledge knows no borders and cultural diversity is celebrated.
